6/10 Good

Breakfast staff amazing, very helpful, it was just our room , we wer staying two nights, and our view was tiles from the adjoining building, if I knew that was the view wouldn’t have booked that hotel, normally stay in premier inn Ayr , better view , was unset and very depressing looking at tiles room no 28

Fantastic hotel with friendly helpful staff. We ate in the hotel for dinner & breakfast & both meals were outstanding. Our room was clean & comfortable although the mattress was a bit soft for us but that’s a personal preference. Would definitely stay here again if in the area

I cannot rate the staff at this hotel more. I've travelled for work for years and I've never had better service at a hotel. The team at the Dumfries Arms were exceptional. I can't fault them. My husband and I had a fantastic two night stay, the food at the restaurant was delicious and catered well for my gluten intolerance.
