Horizon Hotel review
The hotel was right across the street from the ocean. Views were absolutely beautiful.

Definitely 3* but 4* food and 5* staff
Perfectly adequate 3 star hotel with relatively small room and rather claustrophobic shower room. However, the stay was made by the quality of the food and the helpfulness of the friendly staff. Praise for these personal touches very justified

Nightmare Horizon
It is a nightmare on checking in to discover it was an attic room with hardly any space to move. Me and my husband kept banging our heads. We asked for another room but the manager refused saying that's the room we booked for. We paid a premium price for an ensuite room not an attic room. We checked out the same evening at 930pm into another B&B as I'm afraid we will hit out heads again in the room and in the bathroom. The bathroom smells of damp. It is dangerous to stay in that room. I still have pain and dizziness in my head after leaving that place for 2 days. Never again going to Ayr. The manger Tracey is very rude and blunt. I think she's prepared with the answers as we are not the first to complain after looking in the Tripadviser site.
