Pleasant responsive staff, good harbor location, great breakfast. Very noisy at night if room on side where cafes/bars are. Standard double room very very small. Normally that size works well for us. Paid to upgrade to superior room. Was on noisy side of hotel with loud noise until 3 am. Bathroom door did not close. Stayed six mights total.

Great location! Very central. But rooms are very small, no space at all. Barely any room to walk around. Didn’t clean room daily , had to remind them over and over again. Grocery store in building and restaurant. Very central location!

Decent three star, but definitely not four star

Hotel was fine and even though I had a larger of an average standard room, it was by my standards small without a desk or place to store clothing. Additionally bathroom while adequate and size did not have shower door so the floor would get wet continuously which is not something I equate four star luxury comfort.

The location is ideal for anyone visiting the city center, as it’s situated right in the heart of the pedestrian zone. The hotel is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and bars, and there’s a supermarket conveniently located just next door. As noted on the website, the room is quite small and does not have windows. The ventilation system can be a bit noisy at times. However, the breakfast was satisfactory, and it’s a nice touch that coffee and tea are available at all times in the lobby.

The bathroom had no door, small bathroom. No kettle. Very thin walls. You can hear a lot from the next room and a lot of noise from the pub right outside. Very poor breakfast. A lot of dark color. Very poor service from staff, arrogant. In relation to what you pay you get very little in return. Expensive.

one of the worst experiences we had. room should never be rent: noise from neighbours, impossible to make the room dark: light is coming through the roof, too warm room can not cooled down by opening a window or airco, TV broken

The check-in was dreadful. I was sick that day, and they put me at the last level of the building, where there's no rooftop. It was raining that night and coming in and out of the room meant getting wet every time. Thus, I asked the receptionist to relocate me to another room, but she said I had to wait till the next day and talk to the person at the reception. The day after, I went to the reception and the receptionist told me to wait in the lounge room for around 3 hours until they sorted everything out, which was not very empathetic considering my condition and the fact that I booked a room for 5 nights. Finally, around midday, the manager showed up and solved the issue (I give her, Lenna, 5 stars). After that, things went normally.

The location of this hotel is excellent to walk around all attractions in Bergen. Transportation between airport and Havila cruise from the hotel is easy. Front desk staff are very helpful, and buffet breakfast included is excellent.

The staff is friendly. Breakfast was great. Bed is comfortable and clean. Outside the hotel is loud and can hear some noise at night. Not overall we had a good stay.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel mainly because of the room that was: very modern, new, clean, spacious & comfortable. The included breakfast was a buffet with very good & tasty selection (warm & cold). The location was perfect: most of the important objectives are in a walkable distance. Cons: hallways were dull & narrow; tv had only 1 English channel (UK BBC); no conditioner; room service only on request.

Don't spend extra on bigger room or city view

I ordered a city view 20 sqm room. The room was long and narrow with a passage way from the door to the bed space with the bathroom on the side so the extra space i wanted was not in form of spare around the bed. The city view was not as the picture, it was a single window on the 2. floor looking at the adjacent building wall.

Long list of lacking things: My room had no closet or drawers, so I had to rummage through my suitcase for three days to get clothes. My room was not advertised as a no-window room, but in fact it had only a couple of skylights (easy to know when it was raining!). My shower had no door, so water covered nearly the entire bathroom floor. The shower also had no shelf for shampoo and soap, so I had to keep reaching to the floor for them. There was no nightstand next to my bed, so I had to keep my phone on the bed next to me, risking it falling off or getting lost in bedding. The room also had no mini-fridge. The housekeepers removed my wastebasket on day 1 and did not return it. In the breakfast room, there was no cream for coffee; one could only squirt some skim milk from a machine, if the machine was working (sometimes yes, sometimes no). The espresso machine stopped working on my second morning, so there was only drip coffee in a carafe. Front desk staff was nice but falsely told me there is no free street parking on weekends, so I would have to park in a garage. Actually, in most zones, parking regulation is suspended from 5pm on Saturday till 8am on Monday.

Rommet var lite og hadde ikke nattbord engang. Låsen på badet fungerte ikke. Natt til søndag var mye bråk fra utsiden. De fleste i resepsjonen og restauranten var vennlige, men han ene asiateren i resepsjonene ville ikke si hei da vi prøvde å hilse på ham. Rema 1000 er vegg i vegg med hotellet, og Kiwi 100m avstand. Alt i alt ok hotell.

Alt i nærheten super service følte meg trygg og varm. Jeg trives godt og det var kjempe kjekt og være på taket i øverste etasje, frokost var bra. Det var god duft over hele hotellet renhold var bra
