DIRTY
The first room I checked into was still dirty. I waited 15 minutes for the front desk person to return to give me a clean room. The clean room had flies in it and a spider on the wall.

Slice of cool in the heat.
The staff are great! Rooms clean and ready for a good night sleep. Front desk was extremely helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Only down fall, beds were a little small for two people to share.

We were very happy to get a place at La Quinta as we were evacuated due to Hurricane Idalia. I think the hotel needs refurbishing: carpets are old and dirty, beds are VERY OLD, furniture in room is all scoffed up and the bathtub looked like a bomb went off in it. That being said, we were happy that the hotel had a place for us and are dog to get away from the hurricane.
