Always love this hotel. The views are horrible (ha) but the rooms are super cute and beds are comfy. Really nice spot if you need something budget-friendly and close to Flatiron/Nomad neighborhoods - - or you are a subway rider as it has the main lines really close.

I truly love the Freehand NYC. The location can’t be beat, and all the places to sit and hang out, get a bite or a drink within the hotel are fantastic. Madison Square park is so close and so wonderful. Lots of great restaurants and cafes are an easy walk. Also a pretty easy walk up Broadway to Times Square. Rooms are small but well appointed with wonderful details. I can’t say enough good things about the Freehand.

Happy to see there is a fridge included in some rooms, but no space for anything larger than a water bottle. We were interested in checking out the bar and could not get access or even find the entrance! (but the internet says it's good)

Very fun, very stylish/hip hotel with fantastic service. One staff member, Hero (sp?), was fantastic and really helped make our stay wonderful. My only recommendation would be to add more items to the bathroom - water glass, toiletry storage, etc.
