Beautiful property inside and out. We love the style and food in the Tap Room and at Provisions. We had a spacious suite the trip which was fabulous.

The team is super nice Kylie at the front desk was friendly and efficient. The inn is in great shape and lots of places to chill and relax. The walk into town is lovely with a nice coffee shop/sweet shop on property and in town. Lovely wine shop with a friendly knowledgeable owner. The rail trail is a perfect hike or run 2 miles out and 2 miles back just across from the inn plus a nice hike up the mountain behind town hall has excellent views. this is a great little get away.

Our stay was perfect. The best part was the service; top to bottom. The bar tender in Tap Room, wait staff, mgmt, all so very helpful and welcoming.
The setting is so comfortable and beautiful, the lawn is full of life!

The room service to clean the room and change the bed was not done.
Explanation “you have to ask for it”
But never in any materials or check in was that communicated.
Also the breakfast that comes with the room cost is ridiculous. You stand in a line as if at a deli counter wait for the breakfast and then seat yourself at an open table.
Service was given only to those who were paying for the breakfast (they still had to stand in line to order but then their meal was brought to them) very crazy!
Also price value of this establishment is very poor.

Nice stay. The room was okay. Bed was horrible. Loved the inn itself and the area. Such a nice part of Connecticut. The dinner at the restaurant was top notch and the Provisions store was also great

The room and surrounding area was nice. My issues are related to our dinning experience and cafe staff. The restaurant was poorly managed. Our food was forgotten and when finally arrived was terrible.
The cafe staff all explained different rules about guest services so it was quite frustrating as each day we were told something different from the previous day.

Nice Classic Inn
We enjoyed our stay at the White Hart. We got a room in the back of the building overlooking a garden. We loved sitting out there and relaxing. The room was a nice size and comfortable. The complementary breakfast provided a good selection and was tasty. The lobby is a nice place to have coffee or wine. The chairs are everywhere and make it a nice place to relax. Service was friendly and attentive and Provisions provides excellent sandwiches.
We were also able to park right outside our room which was convenient, but the parking lot was not visible due to the garden (see pictures out side our room)
