The heated pool was quite pleasant. The exercise room was clean and had good equipment. However, the rooms themselves were problematic as the HVAC was very noisy and disruptive to sleep. The shower did not drain well and there was a large puddle, as if it was not installed level.
The party and catering facilities were superb.

Excellent location, clean rooms, helpful and friendly desk staff. Valet parking costs $45/day so we opted for the city lot across the street. The hotel lends beach chairs and towels, a nice amenity, and the roof bar is great. Not quite a luxury hotel, but a good choice in Sarasota if the budget allows.
