The bungalows are really nice all in wood. they are spacious and fresh, with a ceiling fan and AC. The lodge is right on the sea and you can both swim directly in the sea or in the swimming pool. Vaitape is an easy 15 min walking, but there is a petrol station right next to the lodge that also has a minimarket, as well as dining "roulotte" There is no food service, but we knew it and we are ok with that, there is a kitchenette in the bungalow so that you can make some food and eat on the decked terrasse. The only thing to upgrade would be the toilet light which is really not strong enough. The staff is really friendly and always around in case you need some info. Overall we loved this place I would suggest you go there if you are in the mainland Bora Bora. Also the price is really good for the quality

The lodge is centrally located and provides bicycles with baskets as an optional way to get around the main island. Staff was pleasant and accommodating with requests. If ever given the chance again I would utilize the accommodations again. :-)

The property is outdated and there was no air conditioning on in the room. The pool was nice and the views from the hotel. The hotel needs a lot of repairs.

Most affordable overwater bungalow in Bora Bora! Spacious room, beautiful sunset views, swimming pool as well. Downsides: Bar/restaurant is currently closed, and AC is in units but not working.

Oa Oa Lodge is the perfect location for visitors who want to experience the local side of Bora Bora. The staff is great and very accommodating to their customers. They are very informative and helpful. The lodge itself was great with the ocean view for not even 1/4 of the price of the other ocean view stays in Bora Bora.

Affordable Bora Bora!
This is a great option for Bora Bora if you don't have the funds or don't want to spend all of your money on an expensive hotel. The bungalows are clean and spacious, the location is excellent, and the service fantastic. If you get a garden room, you may have street noise, but traffic usually stops around 10pm or so. There is a very nice pool, and they do have beautiful waterfront bungalows. Overall, I highly recommend Oa Oa Lodge

Restaurant was closed, poor wifi, barely an over water bungalow, but very close to town, let me ride a bike to town and back no charge, reception guys were great very helpful and nice, car waiting for me when i arrived
