Turunc experience

The hotel stands on a hill, near Astronomic Observatory, with sea view and silence. Staff is very kind, they might only learn some English. We had dinner there, we ate fresh baked fish (Orada), and one evening grilled chicken with vegetables, in perfect Mardin's style. There is a perfect pool, and the dinner is served close to it in a wonderfull panorama. Perfect service to Port/Airport.

Lovely traditional hotel with great staff

Located just before you get into the town the hotel was ideal for us because we had a hire car and so were able to enjoy the lively bustle of Turunc and then escape to the tranquility of Lavanta Hotel. It was a little tricky to locate - just take the Labranda Hotel turn off. The owners and staff were great (real characters) - not much English spoken but we had fun with smiles, guestures and smartphone translation software. Breakfast on the terrace was traditional Turkish fare and nicely prepared and presented. Room was clean and had a balcony with a great sea view. Be sure to visit nearby Amos Beach.

don’t go

There was no water for one whole day and night , staff was smoking in the reception. Before we reach to our room it was water every where .Shower pressure was poor. Breakfast was way below average

Good view

We arrived in mid December when there are few tourists and stayed 3 nights. The hotel is located in the hills and have a wonderful (maybe the best) view to the town and the sea. The hotel owner (the only worker) did our check-in, probably there were no other guests except us and an another couple. It is ok since only few hotels operate in this period in Turunç. The breakfast was nice, especially we enjoyed the local cheese. Also, we were offered a room service but turned it down since we didn’t want it. One (negative) moment, if you do not have a car it will be tricky to go or come back from the town center. It is 2 km distance with steep slides. The owner offered was friendly and served us as taxi. Also, they upgraded our room from a standard to a deluxe (with terrace) free of charge. We are grateful 🙏

Turunç Köyü’nün eşsiz doğasının tam üzerinde konumlanan Lavanta Otel’de geçirdiğimiz zaman beklentilerimizin çok ötesindeydi. Daha ilk andan itibaren buranın sadece bir konaklama yeri değil, gerçekten huzuru yaşayabileceğiniz özel bir ortam olduğunu hissettik. Odalar son derece zevkli dekore edilmiş, ferah, tertemiz ve her ayrıntısı özenle düşünülmüş. Sabah uyandığınızda yemyeşil doğa ve deniz manzarasıyla güne başlamak, akşam ise yıldızların altında dinlenmek tarif edilmesi zor bir his. Özellikle geceleri esen serin ve temiz dağ havası, yaz sıcağında adeta doğal bir klima etkisi oluşturuyor. Uzun zamandır bu kadar rahat ve kaliteli bir uyku uyuduğumu hatırlamıyorum. Otelin sonsuzluk havuzu ise başlı başına bir deneyim. Manzarayla bütünleşen tasarımı sayesinde saatlerce oturup sadece doğayı seyretmek bile insanı dinlendirmeye yetiyor. Gün batımında havuzun sunduğu görüntü gerçekten kartpostalları aratmıyor. Sessizlik, doğa ve manzaranın birleşimi insana şehir hayatının bütün yorgunluğunu unutturuyor. Ancak bu oteli özel yapan en önemli unsur kesinlikle çalışanları. Güler yüzlü, samimi, nazik ve her konuda yardımcı olmaya istekli bir ekip var. Hiçbir yapmacıklık hissettirmeden misafirlerini gerçekten değerli hissettiriyorlar. Bugün turizm sektöründe böyle içten bir hizmet anlayışına rastlamak giderek zorlaşıyor ve bunu özellikle takdir etmek gerekiyor. Lavanta Otel, huzur arayan, turunç kotunda konaklayıp bütün koyları gezmek isteyen herkese tavsiye edilir.

Tesis kesinlikle fotoğraflarda görüldüğü gibi değil. Yemek menüsü oldukça pahalı yolları berbat. Giricekseniz kesinlikle çıkmayacaksınız otelden çünkü yollar bütün hevesini alıyor insanın. Burada konaklayacağınıza arabada veya dışarda çadır kurup yatın daha iyi. Kahvaltı odaya 30 k verdim 6 gece. Kahvaltı oldukça vasat ve yetersizdi.

çok memnun kaldık. minik bir aile işletmesi. nane isimli odada kaldık. çok genişti ve harika bir balkonu vardı. 3 yaşında oğlumuz ile kaldık ve hiçbir soru yaşamadık. merkeze uzaklığı araba ile 3 dakika kadar sürüyor. hem sakin dinlenmelik hem de denize yakın bir lokasyonda. kahvaltı yeterli idi. çalışanlar ilgili idi. bir kez daha gitmeyi düşünürüm.

Otelin konumu , odaların genişliği, kahvaltı ve temizlik açısından gayet bizim beklentilerimizi karşıladı. Turunç çok değerli bir bölge benim için bakir koylar açısından muazzam , otel bu bölge için gayet yeterli imkanlara sahip, gün doğumuna uyandığımı şahane bir odamız vardı , biz kullanmadık ama havuz alanı da gayet keyifli görünüyordu.

Guzel bir otel, önce böyle otel mi olur diyorsunuz sonra seviyorsunuz. Biraz şans verin hakediyor. İşletmecileri mükemmel insanlar. Bu arada kahvaltida verdikleri receli yemeden once ne receli diye sorun. Bana biber receli denk geldi))
