Pleasant stay. Everyone was very nice. Dinner and breakfast service was slow as they never checked on us. Views were beautiful and it was clean. There are some cats that hang out there and get on furniture if you are allergic to them.

The grounds are just spectacular. The colors of all the plants and landscaping in general was amazing. We have eaten lunch there before but decided to spend the night. The room was spacious and even had a covered patio. The food, as always, was also excellent. Nice break from the heat of the beach. I highly recommend spending some time exploring the Golden Frog.

I love it! It was clean, the staff was friendly and surprisingly spoke English very well, which was great for me as I’m not a Spanish speaker. The grounds were so beautiful with butterflies and hummingbirds all over the place. I didn’t go in the pool, but it looked very inviting. The complementary lemonade was great. The breakfast that was included went way beyond my expectations. It started as a continental breakfast, which was pretty standard, but then you can add your choice of other entrées as well. My pancakes were great. The rule from the room was spectacular. The bed was spacious and comfy. The bathroom was large and European style if you know what that means. I would definitely go back again on any future trips that I make to the Valley.

Clean room with good space for a family with children. Beautifully kept grounds with diverse plants, trees and birms. Hotel offers a nice pool and is in proximity to Casa Campestre property (large lawns, frog museum, walking trails) and horseback riding. Staff at Golden Frog were helpful and responsive, hotel hosted a folk dance presentation during the National Fiestas Patrias month.
