We stayed at the charming Rock Hotel and were completely satisfied with the experience. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from. There was some road noise, particularly from mopeds, but otherwise I would recommend the hotel as a base from which to explore Gibraltar.

All the staff were lovely, and really helpful. The room was big and the balcony was nice to sit out on. It’s up a hill so be prepared for that. Restaurant was ok, I preferred eating out for more choice. We had room service which was great, big portions. Really enjoyed our stay there and would return.

This beautiful historic hotel was one of the highlights of my trip to Spain and Gibraltar. The staff service and hotel amenities were excellent. I can’t say enough about the room and view! The staff were very friendly and supportive. We arrived late because our B.A. flight was diverted to Malaga but were still able to have dinner. Special mention to Marina who helped us to locate and retrieve missing baggage which B.A. had left at Heathrow. The food was excellent, our room was perfect and the view from our balcony was stunning

Absolutely magnificent commanding views of the mediterranean from the rooms, bar and restaurant. Very friendly staff who all spoke both English and Spanish. To my mind it has a lovely sort of golden age of Britain feel to it, which made me quite nostalgic. It's probably fair to say that we had a four, rather than a five star experience overall, but Gibraltar isn't overloaded with very high-end hotels, so I can highly recommend it. If we return to Gibraltar we won't hestitate to return to The Rock.
