This is an old hotel with some great features. The Chinese restaurant on the 40th floor is really good with some stunning view of the city skyline. The shared facilities are well looked after but our room was a little run down. The toilet was noisy and the Aircon and fridge didn't work. Besides that the room was very spacious with a good bed.

Our room was very spacious with an excellent view over the city. The large bath tub was also a treat though the other facilities were a little dated. We also loved the dining room which played a tourist video of the city's activities. However, the breakfast was not of 4 star standard. Some items were not replenished, the coffee machine not regularularly serviced and some hot items were cold and healthy breads not available. More attention to detail is needed.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful during my stay. Although the hotel interior is old-fashioned, the maintenance is good. The breakfast is good and relatively cheaper than neighboring hotels. The fan for the AC in the room is loud which should be repaired.
