Our day was very pleasant. Checking in was a breeze. The cabin style rooms were very clean and tidy. Having a kitchen in the refrigerator came in handy. There was firewood for the fireplace that we could use. The parking was free we located in front of each room. The kitchen was stock with everything necessary to eat in. Highly recommended to anyone. We will definitely be staying there again.

It was such a gem to walk into! The place was clean everything I needed or forgotten to have brought with me on the trip was available. Felt like walking into home because I have things there. It was just my husband and our 80 lb dog. The mammoth bays and lakes was a 10 minute drive away. All the restaurants and shops that we needed access to was about 5 minute drive away. I'm definitely planning to stay here for my next trip to Mammoth!

Edelweiss lodge is charming in some ways. We loved the original vintage wood and cabin vibe. However, in 2026 some things need to be updated- carpet was very old and dirty- my kids feet turned black. Curtain in bathroom was torn and was a privacy issue. The shower is super tiny, even for a smaller person like me. A living room window was missing a screen- safety issue for kids. Kitchen had mostly what we needed, but a large pot was missing. The management did bring us one. We also had to request more bath towels- only 3 sets were given and we had 4 people. The hot water was also a big issue because there is no regulator on it so it goes from cold to hot in seconds and the hot is literally scalding. I would recommend this cabin for couples without small kids because there are a lot of safety hazards. The price was great but I'm not sure if we would go back because we would like more amenities. We were also hoping for a hot tub which this place did not have. There is also no Management on site so if you need anything you have to text their phone number.
