Great location right next to the bottom of the upper funicular. Friendly, truely welcoming staff. Elaborate continental breakfast -- you won't leave hungry. Nice room. Highly recommended

From the moment we checked in, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The room was spotless, the beds were comfy and a large separate shower cubicle. The hotel is perfectly situated for all of the Citte Allta's features.

The room was modern and clean with fresh sheets and linen, the AC came in handy for a comfortable night’s sleep. The hotel is situated perfectly within easy walking distance from the centre. The hotel staff were very professional and friendly and gave good advice on what to do around town, so impressed by the front of house staff. I can’t comment on breakfast as we left early. I am already planning my next visit to Bergamo and will definitely stay here again

This hotel has got a ideal location, great ambience, nice rooms and fantastic breakfast – but, most importantly, Fuori Porta House has the nicest, friendliest and most service-minded staff you will ever meet. We stayed for 2 nights in 2 rooms and we enjoyed it so much. So, we can truly give Fuori Porta House our best recommendations.

From arrival the staff were so kind and helpful, going out of their way to assist us, including organising parking and booking us a table at the great pizza place next door. There were incredible croissants at breakfast and the room was perfect.

Highly recommended small hotel with just 6 rooms but very homely and personable as a result Exceptionally helpful and caring staff. Very cosy and comfortable, well appointed room. Very powerful shower. Great location for upper town. Very generous welcome drink and snacks, also mini bar and more snacks in room. Also a lovely breakfast with the same really friendly staff. Do these people never sleep ? A real homely atmosphere and a great choice for your stay in Bergamo Citta Alta.

From the start of the break we were made most welcome by all the staff. We were greeted by everyone each day from breakfast to evening, Breakfast on the morning was excellent with a varied choice, especially in relation to cereals, cold meats, fruit and cakes etc. The bar area was mainly outside with table service and again varied number of drinks including the local cocktail Hugo. We would definitely return to the hotel in relation to the above and also for the ease of transport.

Staff was truly exceptional. Service for evening happy hour and breakfast was also exceptional. Location was quiet and so convenient to wander this beautiful city. Rooms were small with skylight and vaulted ceiling. Bath lacks privacy. The overall experience of the location and the staff make it an excellent choice. Ask about private transportation if needed as hotel provided at a reasonable fee, thank you Agustina. Ask if you need anything, they were so accomodating.
