Great stay in Kaohsiung

Very nice hotel that could reach everywhere. The 24 hours tea time service at the basement is great. And the people are so nice with great service. The room is good and big. If the checkout time could be at noon will be even perfect.

Had a great stay!

The location is quite convenient to go to the river side and you can walk quite a lot of interests. The staff is polite and things are smooth. If their English is a bit better, that would have been more helpful. They have snack bar and have tons of dessert choices with some savory food. We used the place after dinner desert fix!

Thank you vey much for the great service. The wifi in Room 602 was a little weak but otherwise, the hotel provided us with such a splendid service. Complementary snack bar was great and breakfast was also very enjoyable. Rooms were also very nicely cleaned. Very satisfied.

It's boring that breakfast is optional. Other facilities and staff's response were very wonderful.

It’s a beautiful hotel. Great rooms and accommodating. My one hang up is the hotel staff at the front desk has ice in their veins. I have never been treated so coldly checking into a hotel before and I’ve travelled all around Asia. Maybe that was just the couple employees I was dealing with at the time and the rest are great, I’m not sure. Overall though, it was a great stay.

Urban Luxury & Taiwanese Warmth

Starhaus Hotel exceeds expectations with its perfect blend of modern luxury and Taiwanese hospitality. Perched in an ideal location with stunning harbor views, the hotel offers immaculately clean rooms with thoughtful amenities. The highlight is their rooftop infinity pool overlooking Kaohsiung's skyline - magical at sunset! Staff go above and beyond, offering personalized recommendations and swift assistance. The breakfast buffet features an impressive mix of Western and local delicacies. Rooms are spacious, with plush beds and floor-to-ceiling windows. Steps away from the MRT and night markets, yet peaceful and quiet. Outstanding value for a 5-star experience in the heart of Kaohsiung.

What an absolutely fantastic hotel. Loved our stay here and in Kaoshiung. We wished we would have stayed longer. We had access to breakfast daily which was varied and plentiful. The staff were always so kind and helpful. We also took advantage of the downstairs lounge which offered beverages and light snacks, mostly sweet but some salty, such as congee. The room was well appointed and spacious. The only drawback for other guest who may not be a couple or close family might be the unique bathroom layout. The room was a full open concept. Bedroom bathroom all in one and exposed. Privacy was established with a heavy curtain and a mechanical black out shade. It didn't bother me at all, but it may be an issue for others. If we ever come back to Kaoshiung we will stay here again, without question!

They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and attended to every request with genuine care and efficiency. Moreover, the hotel's convenient location allowed me to easily access popular attractions and transportation hubs, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.
