The best features: Fantastic location. Great historic building. Loved the museum in the lobby. Very nice room upgrade. Thank you. Beds are soft, but still supportive – we slept very well. There is ample space in the rooms and bathrooms. Bathroom is well appointed. Housekeeping very conscientious and amicable. Now for the few things that could be improved: Very slow and unreliable Internet - constantly going in and out. NO TV when it rains – unpredictable at other times. Restaurant has decent food but poor service. Faucets turn to the reverse of what is customary.

The hotel looks very nice. The hotel staff were helpful and cheerful. The three times that I've stayed there the internet never works. I have to use my American cell hotspot. The other gripe I have is the air conditioners are hit and miss. It's very humid inside and I count on the air to dry it out a bit. Never does.

The staff was outstanding—friendly, respectful, helpful, and very understanding throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the room itself appeared poorly maintained. One bed was missing pillows, and there was a long hair under the covers. The AC vent was very dusty, the shower water came out orange, the anti-slip mat had mold, and the towels looked yellow. Even the phone was dirty with dust and hair, making me uncomfortable using it. Because of the overall cleanliness and maintenance issues, I decided to leave the next morning without showering and book another hotel. The staff sincerely apologized and offered solutions, which I appreciated, but I felt it was best to leave.
