Fraud? Just being cautious.
Cute and rustic however staff called me numerous times (12 plus) begining 5 days before my stay, insisting I give them my credit card number for incidentals. I informed them I would bring it with me and provide it at check in. They kept calling, I ignored their calls. I provided the information at check in but also put a fraud alert on my credit card.

Great room, but be prepared to climb into bed!
We selected the room pictured, but received another room. The bed was sitting on top of a boat (charming) and to get into the bed, we had to step up on a step-stool. We had to be mindful of slipping off the stool during the night. We are in our 70's and able to do it, but this could be an issue if folks expect a bed as it is pictured.

This property is a very nice historical home. You should know that it is not child friendly. The parking is also very limited and checking in can be confusing due to the passcodes needed to open every door. The room we stayed in was very small, which we expected, and very nice and historic, which we liked. We stayed in the Harbor Master room. Although the various nick-knacks make the room quaint, they also make it impossible to place your personal items anywhere other than the floor. Also, the bathroom was so small and there was no place to put even a toothbrush. I was also put off by the number of “rules” we were told about after we arrived. If you are traveling, without children, and want a quiet place to stay, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would not recommend it.
