Superb site - hotel and spa were spotless with a characterful main building and ultra-modern spa and therapy centre with expansive well kept lawns as well as access to riverside water meadows (wellies provided in each room!). Plenty of gravel parking too. Food was really well presented with a thoughtful and interesting diversity including many gluten free options. One possible downside was poor mobile phone connectivity and slow internet - but then for a restful break! Incredibly helpful and courteous staff who were very good with my limited mobility (sticks) but if you're reliant on wheeled care equipment the gravel might be a problem. I We will be going back!

Fantastic hotel really with loads of character set in lovely grounds running down to the river. Small personal homely feel not a bland corporate Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Probably one of the best spa facilities that I haves ever visited the beer spar was a first for me and greatly enjoyed thanks to Macy for the great back and neck massage. Evening meal food was fantastic.
