Lovely room with an excellent view of the Bosphorus. The man who checked me in was fantastic, too – very friendly, organised a car to take me to the airport in the morning, offered to have the restaurant make up a takeaway breakfast (although I didn't take him up on this). Just a lovely stay all around. And I liked the neighbourhood, which was a little calmer than Sultanahmet.

Amazing location. It is very close to all types of transportation. The staff is friendly and attentive. We’ve stayed here twice now and noticed they did change the breakfast buffet style however still a great view every morning!

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at the Artisan Hotel. The accommodations exceeded our expectations with a spacious room, comfortable bed, and flawlessly functioning air conditioning. The complimentary bottled water was a thoughtful touch, and room service was excellent throughout our visit. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional staff service. Cengiz at the Front Desk and Ozan went far and above our expectations, making our stay feel like home. We particularly enjoyed our daily conversations about life in Istanbul - their warmth and local insights added a personal dimension that transformed our visit from merely comfortable to genuinely memorable. I would highly recommend the Artisan Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. We're already looking forward to returning on our next trip to the city.

I liked everything. Perfect location, very comfortable and big room. Everything new and clean, I had partly sea view from my room. Staff is friendly and competent, special thanks to Aziz at the front desk. Will be happy to come again.

The Artisan is a respectable, enjoyble hotel to stay at. The bed was comfy, with great black out curtains and a great shower. The staff mostly kept to themselves, but they were helpful when we asked for things. Simple amenities, and we didn't try the breakfast but the lobby always seemed very quiet. The area is quiet and easy access down the hill to besiktas or up the hill to Taksim, so a great location.

For first timers visiting Istanbul, this is a great property. We had exceptionally beautiful view of Hagia Sophia and Blue mosque from our bedroom and also rooftop bar from where we witnessed beautiful sunrise/ sunsets every day. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was also above average. The area of SultanAhmet is also very beautiful- only thing is street restaurants try to rip you off when they realise you are a tourist and their food I also doesn’t taste the best. For food, either eat in the hotel or go outside Sultanahmet. Overall a very pleasant stay. Amazing amazing hotel.

The room was fine, mattress hanging through a bit, the rest of the hotel looked much better on the website. The top floor restaurant has a great view but the furnishings are not very comfortable and very used. On the map it seems like you are super close to Taksim Sq however it's a pretty steep uphill walk takes about 10 min at least.

Very nice facilities, but…

The hotel itself is very good in terms of location and infrastructure, but there are some points that need improvement. Service at the front desk does not reflect the Mgallery brand and all the staff we had to interact throughout the stay were somehow rude. The other point is the noise that comes from the rooftop restaurant in the weekends nights. The music is loud and continued even after 10PM and it was almost impossible to get a rest.

Köprü manzaralı istediğim için ekstra ücret ödedim ve odam köprü görmüyordu, kafamı pencereden cıkartıp uzanmam gerekiyordu fakat çalışan arkadaşlada derdimi söylediğimde ellerinde başka odaları olmadığı için o fiyat farkına kahvaltı ikram ettiler, durumu çözmeye çalıştılar. Çalışan arkadaşlara teşekkürlerimi iletiyorum, umarım her otelde böyle güler yüzlü, sorun çözmeye çalışan arkadaşlarla karşılaşırız. Tek sorun bazı odalaran boğaz manzarası kapsamına girmemesi gerekiyor onun dışında gayet iyiydi.

Cengiz at the Front Desk and Ozan went far and above our expectations, making our stay feel like home. Our Istanbul vacation was split into two parts. We were rerturning to Istanbul after visiting Capdadpcia. We like the the Artisan so much so much that we decided rebook at the same hotel for our 2nd part. We left our heavy suticases and they were so kind to store all the sweets and chocolates we had purchased in their cold storage. Overall it was a great stay and I would highly reccomend Artisan in Istanbul.
