Delightful boutique hotel on a nice and quiet beach. So nice to see the sunrise in the morning and the fishermen setting out to get their daily catch. The staff is friendly and service-minded often working quietly in the background to make sure you’re taken care of. The food was surprisingly good. The rooms are beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the view from the balcony. The only downside was that the beds were a bit on the hard side - and very squeaky :)

Wonderful Boutique Hotel with a nearby 'sister' hotel. We took the half board plan (breakfast and dinner) and at lunch dined at some of the other near by resorts. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful everyday. The food was quite good at both resorts. The intimacy of this resort was great. Beach has some of the finest, softest white sand we've ever walked on. What a joy to stay here. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing boutique property with pleasant and very helpful staff. With all that said, the only negative is the immediate area/neighborhood outside of the gate. The management should spend more to enhance the standard of the area and help the people living in that area. This would make it more inviting for guests like us who wanted to go fora walk the area.

Amazing small hotel with crazily good service.

This was a perfect boutique hotel - exceptionally pretty and with everything we were looking for. The rooms are just metres from the beach, the food is extremely good, and the team can't be beaten. Getting up at 3.50am to gift us fresh fruit for a trip was absolutely exceptional but in keeping with the service we received throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and they also went out of their way to make sure that they accommodated our (vegan) dietary requirements. Cannot recommend too highly.

The food at every meal was outstanding..coming from foodies who run restaurants!! Every request was met with “yes..of course”. Beyond a beautiful setting, the staff and service make Mvuvi very special. Everyone is kind and helpful — including the drivers they use. They use a WhatsApp group to inform you of opportunities and activities. And a direct WhatsApp to organize transfers and answer questions. The breakfasts are delicious. I also loved the salt water pool. I stayed on the beach lounge side of the property in room 16 (up stairs) my colleague stayed in the room below (12) that had convenient walk out. Both had sea view.

Beautiful scenic property. small boutique hotel that still has all you need. Chef customized our plant based meals every day and everyone was well-prepared and tasty. Staff are so helpful and kind. Watershoes being available are a big plus for the rocky areas of the beach. Only thing I missed was having a gym. Tried running on the beach but some folks try to sell you things and harass a little. They may be harmless but it’s awkward and hard to enjoy a run when you have to avoid those people. Otherwise we loved our stay there!

This is the second time I visit Mvuvi (July 2023). On the positive side the new hotel is very nice especially the new swimming pool. The food is unfortunately not the same standard as last year and inconcistent. Sometimes very good and sometimes disappointing. The service is also too slow. I also believe the prices for excursions and watersports are too high. We did all activities outside of the hotel at much lower costs.
