Super clean, helpful staff and an excellent dinner. We didn’t have time to use any of the amenities. Would definitely stay again.

10/10 Exceptional

This place was amazing, especially to enjoy the pool, sauna, jacuzzi & steam (we didn’t end up booking spa treatments, but they were available) after hiking in the incredible Plitvice Lakes N.P. The beds were amazing- the room was great- loved the balcony as well…it really was fabulous. They are still building there, so there were things that were a bit clunky, but well worth the stay!!

The hotel was clean and really comfortable and they had a pool which was a bonus at 37C temp after the long walks in the park. Also very close to entrance 1 literally 6 min drive and the breakfast was great.

6/10 Good

We were in the older section (room in the teens). The new section is rooms 100 and above. If you stay here, go to the new section. The older section had rooms renovated but left the stairwell / floor lobby area back in the 80's. Also, the corridor was dark and you need to turn the light on before entering the narrow corridor. The old section is detached from the new section which is more modern / open and light. Bathroom amenities were terrible. Had 2 unmarked bottles of something in the shower (one that looked like shampoo and the other conditioner). I asked what they were and were told shampoo and body wash. Used my own stuff. Breakfast is EUR 16 (although at check-in was told it was EUR 13.50.) Upon check out, the women said the man who advised of rate "made a mistake" and price was as of 10/1/26. Hmmm. Not many options for dining in the area. At least it had free parking.

6/10 Good

We were happy with the room and location but parking is difficult and every time we went to the desk no one was there. We had to wait 5-10 minutes every time for someone to show up. Keep in mind this is during normal hours. Also, we tried to call several times during normal hours and no one picked up. Not helpful or friendly!

Very clean hotel. Great location. Great breakfast

10/10 Exceptional

Great location for Plitvice Lakes (reason for going). Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room in old part of hotel, now overshadowed by new annex (almost complete with work still ongoing) fine for two nights. Breakfast is basic. Could be improved by a few easy changes. Plum Bistro and hotel restaurant are both excellent. Plum is more refined dining. Hotel restaurant is contemporary with very wide menu. Nice setting. Pool looked good but didn’t use as busy with lakes, waterfalls and a visit to a nuclear bunker! Ask in hotel…..
