The hotel was clean and quiet which was lovely. When I arrived I was told I'd been upgraded to a bigger room at no extra cost which was a delightful surprise. The room was excellent and had a good view. Thank you!

The hotel room was big, clean, quiet, and air conditioned. We had four people comfortably sleep in one room. The location was perfect, at the edge of the old town and just two blocks from the river. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were kind and helpful. Will stay again when next in Basel. A+ place.

6/10 Good

Location convenient to Tram 11 stop. Walking distance to a few restaurants & small market. Bed was very firm. No coffee maker in room. A/C good in room. Lobby and restaurant were warm. Need to climb 3-4 stairs to get to small elevator. Church bell rang at 7 am both days I was there. Overall, Would rate 3/5.

10/10 Exceptional

Booked 2 twin rooms but one of the rooms was very small, asked to be moved and this was dealt with without fuss. We didn’t have the Swiss adapter, again, dealt with. One couple had breakfast every morning and said there was great choice and plenty of it. Air conditioning worked perfectly so room was never too hot. Perfect location for wandering the back lanes/shops-in ‘Tourist’ Basel. Tram stop a short walk down the hill. All staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Would highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved the family rooms. Enough space for everyone. Comfortable beds and sitting area. The shower was wonderful! Would definitely recommend.

The room was clean and very spacious. It is an older building so you can hear people walking above you and if you're by the stairs, there is a lot of creaking. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.
