Terrible Experience – Extra Cleaning Charge for Pet Hair We Never Had
I do NOT recommend this property. Everything seemed fine during our stay, but after checking out, they tried to charge us an extra cleaning fee for “pet hair.” This is completely unacceptable — we did not bring any pets, not even a pet with hair.
Even though we paid the cleaning fee upfront and made every effort to keep the place tidy and organized, apparently that is never enough. The photos they sent as “proof” showed an enormous amount of hair — far too much for the few days we were there. It was obvious that the hair had been there for a long time, likely leftover from previous guests or from a vacuum that had not been emptied in a long time. Clearly, the property had not been properly cleaned before our arrival, yet instead of taking responsibility, they tried to blame us and demand extra payment.
It’s frustrating that nowadays you can’t even trust renting a house or property. At the last minute, they might try to charge you for anything, even after you’ve already paid for your stay, cleaning fees, and everything else. This behavior is dishonest and feels like a deliberate attempt to profit unfairly from guests.
This kind of behavior makes it impossible to trust renting houses anymore. They may try to add extra charges at the last minute, even after you’ve already paid for everything.
