This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are spacious. They have all the modern amenities. The bed was wonderful, the bathroom was so clean and luxurious. There was a deep soaked tub and a beautiful, big shower and a television in the mirror in the bathroom, so you could watch TV from the tub. We would definitely stay there again.

Only one person was working to check people in, which caused a line especially when one party took a long time to get checked in. Was the longest we had to wait for a check in. The hotel was well decorated and historic looking. The bed was okay, not the most comfortable. The bathroom was great, wonderful shower. We had no WiFi available in the room, the hotel was unable to fix it for the duration of our stay. The restaurant for breakfast was short staffed, I would have preferred a paper menu over the digital one. The plantings outside were full of weeds. Overall, the property for an autograph hotel didn’t measure up. The location is great though and parking was easy.

We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago. More complimentary amenities were offered then, including free/reduced parking and a complimentary drink for adults. It was disappointing to not have these offered this stay. The hotel itself was in overall good condition, though the wallpaper in our bathroom was peeling off and the hot tub water was warm at best. For the luxury feel of parts of the facility it would be great if the property was better maintained. The location was perfect for participating in the Bix 7 race. The staff was friendly but the night staff struggled a bit with our directions to provide a key to one of our group who was arriving late (we were assured by the daytime staff it would be okay as long as we noted their name and they provided ID). It all worked out in the end.

Great hotel with a good location in town just west of the river. The rooms are spacious, clean and the lobby and restaurant/bar area would be at home in a classic Hollywood film. Very classic, old school luxury look and feel that is not expected at this price/trier. Stayed there four times for sports tournaments and look forward to going back!
