I had a short stay at WH Bassac Residence and overall found it to be a straightforward, functional option in Phnom Penh.
The check-in process was seamless and easy. Everything was clearly communicated and access to the room was smooth, which is always appreciated — especially for shorter stays when you don’t want unnecessary friction.
The room itself has more of an apartment vibe than a traditional hotel feel. It’s cozy but not cramped, and there’s actually a good amount of space. It’s not flashy or luxury-forward, but it’s practical and comfortable. The kitchen area in particular is spacious, which is a plus if you prefer having room to prepare food or stay a bit longer.
The bathroom and shower are where the property feels more basic. It’s functional — everything works — but it definitely leaves room for improvement. Depending on your needs and priorities, this may or may not matter. If you’re just looking for something that does the job, it’s fine. If bathroom quality is a top priority for you, this might feel underwhelming.
Overall, it’s a practical, apartment-style stay that works well for short visits. Not luxurious, not boutique — but functional and easy

The noise keep us up to early hour of the morning. The bedrooms not dark enough to sleep even though the blinds are pulled down the bright light from the sky light around the hotels shine through lit up the whole room, the uncomfortable pillow did not help to sleep. We would never stay there again would not recommend to anybody
