A fabulous gem of a hotel with very helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, extremely comfy beds, nothing too much trouble (I ordered a kettle to make tea). Right in the centre of the old town - perfect location. Gardens within the court yard a delight. (NB Expedia - there isn't a swimming pool!)

Very nice stay in the center

The hotel is located in the middle of city and very convenient for sightseeing. The breakfast had all the basic things you need, and refilled frequently. There is a sauna and it’s opened till 11pm, it was refreshing after a long day of walking! If you want to have air condition in the room, make sure NOT to choose classic rooms. Newer rooms do have air conditioning, maybe good idea to double check with their homepage. One thing I wish they had in the room was mini fridge, but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay and everyone was very nice!

Stay in Erfurt

We had visited Erfurt on day trips, but this was the first opportunity to stay in town. We had a great time. We were very close to the places we wanted to see (Erfurt Dom, Krämerbrüke (finally was able to walk on it), and the Fish Market (full of fantastic places to eat). Very nice feel of an old city.

The hotel was a much longer walk than 4 minutes (unless you are a giraffe) and it was not easy to find because there seems to be many streets that are poorly marked or unmarked. I received help from a very nice teenage couple who used their smart phone to finally find the hotel. I would consider staying there again but I would also search for other hotels in that city.

First of all, it was the quest to find by the car navigator the exact address what the Hotel provided. Second of all, parking space what the Hotel mentioned is going through the limited access streets, what makes this mission impossible. I parked in the City parking garage and went with the light laguage to find where the Hotel is located. Now I know.

I think I drew the short straw. The comfort room is on the ground floor. I had people walking past my room windows continually to get to the restaurant. There was a table and chairs outside of my room which was noisy and didn’t make for privacy. There is no curtain on the bathroom window - just frosting - so I felt uncomfortable at night with lights on. The lights from reception come through this bathroom window too. Not good for a solo older female. I believed the room was a step up from the normal room.

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer, 211, zur Strasse, mit Erker. Alles sehr sauber und bequem eingerichtet. Der Empfang ist sehr freundlich, nette Begrüssung und Erklärung, wie die Stadt zu erkunden ist. Tolles Frühstück im Restaurant. Die Garage haben wir nicht genutzt, somit mussten wir nicht durch die Stadt fahren. Das Parkhaus Forum 1 ist innerhalb von 4 Minuten zu erreichen und sehr geräumig und bequem.

Dejligt hotel med masser af charme og sødt og hjælpsomt personale. Lidt slidt hist og her - men rent, pænt og charmerende og med fremragende beliggenhed. Morgenmaden var god og restauranten i gammel og hyggelig stil, men velholdt og med masser af sjæl. Stedet har en dejlig grøn og brostensbelagt gård-/taghave med hyggelige krinkelkroge og ligger op af et gammelt tårn. Meget charmerende og tæt på fremragende hotel.
