A wonderful breakfast, plenty to choose. Best hot coffee I have ever had on Bali, made fresh. I was blown away by the Sagara from the moment I checked in. Tucked in behind the delicious Vietnamese resto Hanoi by MeVui Sanur, the Sagara has a welcoming vibe that carries through reception, to the pool and main cafe dining area, into the superb villas with private plunge pools, elegant bathtubs, and outdoor rainfall showers. The attention to detail in every area of the villa suite (#2) included: international power points, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances (including microwave, stove, full size fridge, pantry), and an in-room water cooler for fresh hot, cold, warm filtered H2O. The plunge pool was the star of the show, but the comfortable bed and deep bathtub were solid runners-up. Also, the amenities included shaving kit, bamboo dental kit, and excellent liquid soap and shower items. Free local shuttle service helped a lot with snorkelling trips, too. The staff were proactive, super helpful (especially when I walked away without my passport at check-in), kept the room in perfect condition, and the entire property felt like one of the newest, freshest I've experienced in Bali. I'd absolutely return on a future Sanur trip, because the area is also the ideal mix of options but quiet and relaxing when that's needed. Highly recommended for solo travellers and couples.

Love the small boutique hotel vibe, think 12 suites (which stayed in one) and 12 villas. The suite is spacious and has all you need including dark rooms at night and good air conditioning.
