We arrived on a late night flight. After waiting over 15 minutes for the shuttle we were checked in quickly & shown our room. This is a small hotel but nice. Our room was large with a comfortable king bed. The air-conditioner kept the room cool as long as we kept the bathroom door closed. We had had a balcony overlooking the pool. The included breakfast was good with a choice of fruit & cooked breakfast or continental.

If you have just arrived or on your way back home this is the place to unwind. After 2 weeks of travelling around Sri Lanka we sent 2 nights here doing very little but relax, eat and drink :) The restaurant offers a good selection of well cooked meals. This place does not feel like a proper hotel. It operates more like a basic guesthouse. Housekeeping is only done if you specifically request it, which is not acceptable at this price point. Breakfast is very limited and service is slow. The bedsheets and duvets had an unpleasant smell, which seriously affected comfort and hygiene. Overall, it is not worth the price charged. There are better options in Sri Lanka that offer cleaner rooms, proper daily housekeeping, and more value for money.
