A very warm welcome from the moment you arrive. The hotel is beautiful, spacious and has a lovely scent. The bedrooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable! Breakfast is highly recommended with a range of food to suit all your requirements. Amazing cocktails in the evening with two different restaurants! Staff were friendly, always available to offer support and couldn’t do more for you. The spa area is serene with a heated inside pool. If you follow the aqueduct downhill you get to the metro which is easy to navigate if you want to get onto Porto. A great place to stay .

The restaurant Mosteiro is exceptional, with food of an impeccable standard. Finally, all the staff in the hotel are courteous, friendly and helpful. This hotel is true luxury. Staying in the most perfectly developed historical building was nothing but joyful and relaxing. The staff are proud of their roles, warm and professional. The hotel is immaculate. Rooms were cleaned to the highest standards and also turned down each evening with a home baked sweet treat left. The spa was not half measures and again is perfect. I had in fact booked this hotel by mistake, believing it to be in Porto…..it turns out to be the best mistake I made. Taxis cost no more than 18euros either way and using uber was easy. The area has lots of good restaurants that reminds be-food at the hotel is again top notch. I have nothing to even make as a suggestion as improvement for this hotel. My only negative point would be the area whilst having history is fairly unkempt.

Extraordinary service and first class accommodations. This convent has been upgraded in 2024 into one the best places to stay in all of Portugal. We decided to stay in Vila do Conde (along the coast) instead of inland in Braga. It was a great decision as Lince Santa Clara was incredibly beautiful and just a short drive to Braga.
