Brilliant Staff throughout the hotel….friendly, efficient, nothing too much for them! Food fresh and superb👌 Location peaceful with easy access in every direction. We spent 3 days driving the coast and around most of Norfolk and coming back to the peaceful hotel was what we needed. A minor glitch with their internet the first day which was speedily sorted. Definitely come back to The Harper next time we come to beautiful Notfolk.

Very relaxing and chilled atmosphere throughout hotel. Rooms spotless. Breakfast a very high quality. Having the option to book pool for own use felt like a luxury. Also complimentary drink was not expected but was very appreciated. Great location for coast. Staff very attentive.

This was a great stopover on our road trip. We loved the room & the pool / sauna. The only issue we had was a lengthy wait for our dinner service - over 45 mins. Not sure if our order was missed by the staff or there was a long order list. Other than this, the stay was most enjoyable.

Overall our stay was good but we felt the place lacked ambiance. This is our 3rd stay, but there was nothing new that wowed us. It also felt quite rushed, having to decide times for pool, meals etc. while I understand this might be needed for efficiency planning, it goes against the ‘slow Norfolk’ vibe and being sent the final bill while still in bed, further added to that feeling. The window sails by the stain glass windows were covered in dust and crumbs and the loo brush was in a nasty state. Dinner was however delicious but eggs at breakfast were embryonic.

We have just returned from the most wonderful four-day stay at The Harper Hotel and honestly cannot praise it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Keith greeted us and showed us to our room, Room 211, which was absolutely lovely. It is right at the end of the corridor, so it was incredibly quiet, which was perfect for us. The room itself was beautiful, and all the little extras made such a difference, from the bottled water and crisps to the homemade cookies. It was those thoughtful touches that made us feel looked after straight away. We ate at the hotel every evening, and the food was excellent. We tried both the restaurant and the bar food and genuinely could not fault anything. Everything was beautifully cooked, and the whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable. The staff really made the stay for us. Everyone was friendly, warm and helpful without ever being over the top. We loved the way the staff interacted with the guests. It felt very informal and relaxed, yet at the same time extremely professional, which is quite a difficult balance to get right. A big thank you to Andrew, the General Manager, because whatever he is doing with his team, it works. There is such a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel, and you can tell that the staff genuinely care about the people staying there. The spa was wonderful too, and the hotel is in a fantastic location, close to everything we wanted to visit. My sister and I travel all over the world

Another really good stay at The Harper. First class service from all the staff where nothing was too much trouble. Private use of the pool works really well and they have clearly thought about everything. The food options are very good and breakfast is excellent. Parking is also ample which is not always the case in North Norfolk and takes the stress out of the holiday especially if you are traveling with children.
