First of all. Its a nice old building, but it certenly need some maintence and TLC. The poolarea have missing tiles here and there, and there are no garbage cans. There is 3 bars in the poolarea, all closed. The check in took hours, everything whit paper and pen. The computer is inventet…

Lots of mixed reviews, but we were pleasently surprised. If your looking for a clinically clean state of the art hotel its probably not for you!.If you like character, some fantastic old style Thai buildings and plenty of quirky charm, then this may be for you A lovely quiet beach about 200 yards from the front door and a good breakfast as well !

**Great Stay – Excellent Staff & Location!** I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help, making the experience even better. The hotel itself is high quality, with clean and comfortable rooms. Plus, the location is perfect for visiting Thailand’s top temples, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The only downsides were that the elevators weren’t working, so it was a bit of a walk to the rooms, and the breakfast was just average—nothing special. However, overall, I still had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Age and failings do not give owners the right to take customers money and treat them as fools. This hotel was once beautiful but now is sad and serverely run down. The experience of staying here is one we will never forget for all the wrong reasons.

Nothing updated since 1980’s. Buffet meat was as cheap as it gets. I’m sure this place was epic 40 years ago, but they are letting it fall apart. Elevators are shut down and gym is dangerous.

Underwhelmed with this accommodation we have stayed in 2 and 3 star which was so much better - rooms are tired - although check in time was 2 and advised accommodation we would be there for 4.30 - one of rooms was not ready. This is a very unique property with a huge swimming pool and sits quietly in its own grounds just a very short walk to the beach. The staff are all like one big family and always happy to help...... I stay here regularly because of its charm and peaceful traditional surroundings...... The rooms are much larger than you will find in most other places....,...the property is a little bit jaded-but that is reflected in the price..... . Enjoy!

This resort is HUGE. We got a room in the 3rd floor. No elevator available. I guess once upon a time this was a great place, but unfortunately it has not been well maintained so everything its old. Also they as for your deposit in cash, so be prepare. We went to the resort just to sleep,so it kind of work for that purpose. It is at walking distance from the brach and night market.

Probably not maintained or repaired for decades. No service, disgusting breakfast, no other food or drink options, no wi-fi, elevators all broken, broken concrete in (warm) pool area, long walk to rooms up stairs, very limited ratty towels. Over-priced. AVOID!

Among the nicest places I hav stayed at, must have cost a fortune to build. The swimming pools and long swimming channels too good to be true. The plant life is like an ecosystem on to itself. The only nuisance for me was the single control box next to one of the beds for all the lighting, I had to leave the bathroom light on all night!

Hotel Stat from Hell

We upgraded on arrival to pool access room, double our booking rate but that was ok. Airconditioning not work, ceiling fan not working, the matress was a boxspring, Wifi not working anywear in the building, room safe was not functional, building elevator not working. it was terrible. it's a 5 star hotel that should be 2. nothing worked there was no internet in the rooms, the endless corridors, we had to go to reception every time because we stopped working the light, the bathroom, the air conditioning, they didn't put towels, They don't respond to the messages you send, the fridge without the key doesn't work which my mother couldn't put on her medications because when we arrived it was off and we got lost. If you can choose another place, take another one.

Rude staff, not a 4 star hotel, looks abandonea

It was horrible service, as we checked in the room was half-way done. The bathtub was dirty, no towels at all and One of the two beds had no sheets/comforter, we realized around 11:30pm.. and no one answered at the front desk.. when we went to the lobby there was no hotel staff, just 2 guys half sleep on the lobby chairs ( seemed like they were just night stands.. when we asked for help to get sheets they said (in a very rude manner) that we had to bring “our problem” next day and started ignoring us.... we had no sheets (so no way to cover ourselves) we had to use our own towel. The next morning we informed front desk and they were also very rude.

Loud boisterous lower class Brits being their worst at my arrival. Before I saw the room was urged to pay for 3 nights with a receipt that said in big bold letters "NO REFUNDS" which should have been my first clue. There were restaurants advertised in the Expedia website but they were all closed. The room we had difficulty entering because the key lock was broken - hardly an encouraging sign that they keep the place up. Made all the more obvious when we finally managed to get into the room and found it musty, old and uncared for...unless you count dozens of coats of cheap brown pain "gentrification" Room looked out onto a pool of an unpleasant greenish-yellow tinge, where large guests in fluorescen swimsuits baked on large swatch of concrete. Not quite the idyllic location that was featured on the website. Air con was old and didn't work properly. Everything about the place screamed of old and in disrepair...the owners clearly milking the last squeeze of cash from it before it is passed on to a new owner with less (or hopefully more scruples) Staff were not well trained. Seemed as confused and disappointed as I was...to the point of being apologetic. No attempt was made to fix any of the issues I mentioned, and to be honest, the place was far to gone to be considered an option for me anyway. So I gave them their key (that didn't work) back and walked out. Keep the deposit! Just get me the hell out of here. Would never stay there again. Clean up your act people!
