pleasant stay
had been in this hotel for many times. This time was unlucky. Got a room with a badly designed bathroom. The bathtub is large but the toilet is placed in a very narrow space between the washbasin and the shower cabin. I (weight 62 Kg.) have to squeeze myself into it.

Good but maybe not great.
For the most part, the service was great. Only on two occasions was there poor service. Once when my girlfriend wanted to see the spa she was told she was not allowed inside unless she was going to use the spa. This was of course as current guests at the hotel, so it was rather rude of the staff. Another instance was when we wanted to see the pool, the staff followed us around the pool as if we were children. Very annoying to say the least. Otherwise it was a great experience, but if it wasn’t heavily discounted, I would not have rated it as high.

Great stay
A very good hotel, definitely one of the best you can find in Kaohsiung. Staff was great. The room was big, clean & quiet; the bed was comfortable. Maybe somewhat outdated but still very enjoyable. A Nespresso machine was a very nice touch. Bathroom was big and comfortable. Perhaps the only criticism would be that the mini bar was very poor & during the night there is no room service available (we arrived very lated and struggled to find anything to eat in the neighbourhood or at the hotel).
