Such a hidden gem. This place is more than a stay. It's an experience. Things to note are that you have to take a small boat to reach the property so pack light. The nature and beach are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the perfect blend of shelter and being one with nature. The restaurant on site is superb with quality organic ingredients that create art on a plate. Staff is friendly, approachable and super helpful. Can't wait to come back.

This was a beautiful property with the most beautiful views. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Perfect place to disconnect, relax and enjoy nature. Limited menu options but Great tasting food options. :) I would say this is more for couples/visitors who are very comfortable with one another without modern hotel creature comforts. The outdoor restroom and shower was greatly on theme for this nature focused stay - it includes a large sea shell as a shower head.

+Beautifully located property, only accessible by boat. Hiking to the nearby beaches, that were beautiful and deserted, was an incredible experience and the highlight of my trip to Mexico. The staff at the property were so friendly and helpful (shout out to Javi for lifting me on to the boat!), the massage was excellent, and the food and drinks were exceptional. -The only downside is that I felt the price was slightly too expensive for the luxury level of the accommodation, which was very aesthetically decorated but still relatively basic (I guess that's what I should have expected for a beach house!). But overall, the experience was so amazing and unique this would not stop me from recommending Casitas Maraika.

If you are looking for a beautiful, romantic and unique place to stay and connect with nature we highly recommend Maraika. We enjoyed waking up to birds and the sound of the ocean. The staff are welcoming and put a lot of love and care into the property and the food/drinks at the restaurant which is worth the price for well sourced, gourmet, memorable meals in an incredible setting. Be aware you must take a boat taxi from Boca de Tomatlan and may have to walk 10 minutes from Las Animas pier if the waves are too big for beach landing. The staff were very helpful with coordinating transportation, massages, and a sunset tour. What’sapp is the easiest method of communication.

Great area, great rooms and friendly staff. Definitely communicate through WhatsApp with any needs and you’ll be just fine! Yes, there are other hotels in the area, but this one truly ticks all the boxes! Beautiful, private beach, walking distance from the other areas, and great food!! We tried the other food close by, and this one truly had the best!

The property itself is beautiful, the beach and surrounding areas are beautiful and clean and not so busy. The customer service is exceptional. The only cons are that there is not an AC in the bedroom, only 2 fans so the heat and humidity was unbearable during the afternoon. Additionally, they have a fridge in the room with snacks that gets locked the night before you check out without warning. We left personal items (new beverages and snacks) in the fridge and were not given the chance to take them out.

Una experiencia de lo más horrible, hubo un incendio y la forma de manejarlo por parte del hotel no fue la más correcta, se nota que no tienen ni el equipo ni la gente capacitada, ustedes hoteles.com deberían mandar una revisión por parte de protección civil para ver si cuentan con el equipo y la gente capacitada que lo dudo por cómo se dearrollo todo, la administración minimizó el incidente y no debe ser así, tengan mucho cuidado en querer reservar en este hotel de cuarta, de verdad existen muchas más opciones que este hotelucho Gracias

La playa es muy bonita y la comida muy rica, sin embargo a la propiedad le hace falta mejoras y mantenimiento, hay escombros y lugares áreas como las escaleras que podrían tener una mejor apariencia. La comida es bastante cara pero de muy buen sabor, el personal muy amable pero le hace falta profesionalización.
