We had a brief stop at this unique hotel on the way down to Sorrento. The hotel served a lovely breakfast in the stunning garden and then we were able to use the spa facilities before leaving for the ferry. I don't normally write reviews, but for what I paid I was really disappointed, so I want other people to know before they book. It's advertised as a palazzo, like that's the big selling point, but honestly there's nothing special about it. The entrance is shared with another building and it's very dirty. You go through that and up a staircase to get to the lobby. It's not really a hotel either, it's an apartment that's been split into several rooms. The room itself doesn't match the price. There's no real privacy because the bathroom is just glass right next to the bed. The mattress is very cheap, we found a few hairs in the room and on one of the towels, and breakfast was underwhelming. The one good thing was the reception staff. They were really nice and helpful, no complaints there at all. Don't go by the pictures, they don't show you what it's actually like. I honestly don't understand why the other reviews are so positive. This is not a luxury property, and for the price it was absolutely not worth it.

Lovely garden, charming building, friendly staff, big bathtub with a view, great breakfast, elevator and help with our luggage— everything you could want. We actually stayed twice. Once after landing at Naples airport, saw the museums in Naples before heading to Amalfi and then the night before departure. They arranged transport for half price of the taxis. Wish I had used their service for it all but then I found out and it was great. The car arrived on time and got us to the airport easily. All around great experience!

Hidden Gem

Artemesia Domus -Giordano is a fabulous, tucked away oasis in bustling Naples. It’s on the second floor of an imposing, kind of dreary building, but once you walk through the door you really are transported. The hotel is well run, beautiful, and the rooms are incredibly quiet for such a busy European city. I would absolutely stay here again if I find myself in Naples.

Chic hotel in the heart of Naples.. very walkable for Galleria Umberto I, Castel Nuovo, Gulf of Naples. Quick taxi ride to port for transfer to Capri, etc. Gardens are beautiful and room was clean, spacious and lovely. We had a lovely night sleep. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming too. We're so glad we decided to spend a night in Naples before going to Amalfi Coast!

The rooms are clean and fresh and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was good. The only downfall was the entry to the property being two floors up. Ground floor very dark and open in the centre which when it pours rain in can be a challenge to maneuver but, worth it when you get inside the property. , worth the effort

Cara was absolutely exceptional! She greeted us with champagne. She recommended an amazing seafood restaurant we enjoyed so much! She scheduled a taxi for us to the airport. If All of this wasn’t enough Cara prepared breakfast for us of yogurt croissants jam ect because our taxi to the airport was before breakfast started. Our room was fabulous and clean and spacious and beautiful. The bed was so comfortable as well
