The owner did a really nice job on the cabins in keeping with the Viking theme. It was nice to have 3 beds instead of having to use a sleeper sofa. The cabin was clean, well-stocked and had an awesome shower!

Could not have been happier with the experience and the stay. This may look like a rustic cabin stay, but the cabins are not rustic and are very thoughtfully decorated with the Viking theme. Relax in these luxury cabins and take part in some onsite games to learn about the history of vikings. No costumes needed.

Very unique spot. We planned this last minute getaway after another trip was canceled. The cabins are so cute. awe did not partake in the activities but wish we had another day. We did see sheep. Quiet, cute, different.

Absolutely beautiful, highly recommend you staying here. Gave great local options of visiting such as the green covered bridge, local food venues. I would say stop at a grocery store and you can make dinner there. We did go to the local co op in Brattleboro. Hands down the ax throwing was a fan favorite.

Found out about this place on TikTok and it is a must see! It’s way better in person than any photos I’ve seen. The chalets are roomy, have all the amenities needed, very clean, I could go on and on with great things to say! Staff was very friendly and helpful when asking questions. Next visit will be for more than one night for sure!

Viking Village was such a unique and enjoyable stay! It was impeccable, every detail (and there were a lot of very fine ones) was perfectly executed. Very comfortable, quiet, and felt much more luxurious than we are used to as budget travelers. Every amenity was quality and in working condition, we especially appreciated the fireplace. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. No notes, everything was perfect!

Everything about Viking Villages Resort was wonderful! We loved the cozy place we stayed, with an eye for small details that made it a delight. The resort is secluded and very peaceful, even with the occasional "baaa" from the nearby sheep herd on the property. There was corn hole available to play and chairs to sit out on the deck at night to stargaze. If you want a real escape, this is the place to visit. It really has the feel of being in a viking village! We will most certainly be repeat customers!

This place was amazing! The gentleman that checked me in was friendly and professional, he answered all my curiosity questions about the property. We had an amazing stay at Viking Village resort! It is an absolute hidden gem and truly felt like a fairytale escape. The cozy wooden houses are free-standing, which gives you excellent privacy, making them perfect for either a family trip or a solo getaway. I was so pleasantly surprised to find a fully equipped kitchen inside. The entire area is incredibly quiet with absolutely no outside noise—just total peace. On the premises, they have a great fireplace setup and the most amazing, cute goats! My only regret is that we only stayed for one night. We are already hoping to come back for a longer stay next time. It is absolutely worth the drive!
