Beautiful and charming heritage building. This does mean winding passages, stairs, and limitations in what can be done with rooms and bathrooms without destroying the character of the hotel. The property is is an historic building and the rooms reflect the historic feel. The rooms are large and our bathroom had a double sink. Our room had an awkward shower that faced sideways in the tub but that didn't impact our stay greatly. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Location could not be beat.
