Gorgeous little pub/B&B right in the centre of Bourton on the water. The room was super cozy and clean and we slept so well in the bed (our room was above the pub facing the main road). The pub its self is so welcoming and the food was delicious - the breakfast is the nicest traditional breakfast that I’ve ever had. Would absolutely recommend to stay here if you are looking for a relaxed break and great base to explore the area.

The breakfast was top class. Freshly cooked to order, a good choice and with superb sausages and bacon on the Full English. And breakfast was served at a sensible time for those of us looking for a leisurely break. We ate here on two evenings and again, the food was excellent. The bar area is cosy, the wine and beer choices suited us to a tee and the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. It is a 5 minute walk into the centre of the village where there are plenty of other choices for food and drink. None of the other pubs we visited though were as good as the Mousetrap for atmosphere or the personal touch. The only slight drawback at the Mousetrap was that the bedroom could do with a little TLC and the bed itself could do with updating. However, it was perfectly adequate and the bar area and standard of food compensated for the slight discomfort in the room. We would stay here again and would recommend it to friends visiting the area.

Lovely quaint old guesthouse. Clean and good location especially for walking into town or Hawkstone Brewery. Good value, nice bar and breakfast. We did not eat dinner as the town centre 5 minutes walk away had lots of alternatives. Good stay. Recommended.

Stayed here before so we hopefully knew what to expect. Lovely room with a great comfy bed and facilities, shower and en-suite all working well and very clean. Short walk into town, bar and restaurant are excellent, will be back next year.

Quaint and delightful.

The Mouse Trap Inn is very quaint and we had an enjoyable 1night stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms are small but in keeping with the nature of the town and age of the building. We recommend this as a delightful place to stay.
