Lovely English Spa room..
We had the newly renovated room.. Lovely! Comfy! Love the old fashioned foot tub in the sitting room. Love the tea and cookies left for us.. Bed very large and comfy....room very clean. Lobby and hallways old and need a face lift. BUT staff was awesome and the pub and the food was great! We will definately stay again as long as its the newly reno'd room.

Delightful Inn - Loved it so much!
I booked this hotel online not really knowing what we'd get. We were SO delighted when we arrived. This quaint English countryside inn is so amazing. (I've been to England so I can recognize such an inn.) The room was warm and welcoming with homemade cookies on a plate by the cups and saucers for tea (which for a tea drinker is exciting). The food in the pub was excellent. The front desk staff were so helpful. Lending us a charging cord for our iPad. Can't say enough good enough about this place!

trip to Banff
The room was large and the bed and bath tub were great. We had two small issues that were inconvenient, but didn't take away from the overall positives of the room. The in the restaurant was excellent. both breakfast and dinner were very high quality food. highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

Very upset
I was attracted by the pictures of the hotel. However, when I arrived, the outlook and the inside of the room is really different from the pictures. There is no elevator, you have to carry your luggage upstairs. Especially the room, it is tiny! There is only a half moon table, fully occupied by two trays. One tiny table used as a night stand and there is no room to put anything else because they put a clock on the top. On the other side of the bed, there is a fridge. Of course it has another function to used as a nightstand, but it is really annoying in the midnight to be woke up by it's running noise. That is it! There is no cabinet to put luggage, there is no furniture to put your stuff, there is no where to hang your clothes. We have to put everything on the bed if we want to sit down, and switch everything back to the chair when it is time to go to bed, and empty one chair to put all the pillows you don't need on the bed. The curtain is not blackout one and it is really bothering me sleeping after a one day hiking. The bathroom is tiny and has no where to put your shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc, and the tap is separated from the bathroom, yes! It is in the room, awkward! The staff is very nice and helpful on information of the area though. That's the reason I didn't give everything the lowest score. We definitely will go back to that area and one thing is sure we won't stay here again.
