Great things- front desk at check-in was great, breakfast is awesome, and room was large. Kids enjoyed the pool, and the hotel was in pretty shape. Location is wonderful! Issues: the hotel states it doesn't do cleaning unless requested (due to covid), but when we called for service, we got no answer from housekeeping. We then went to the front desk- where we were told they wouldn't clean unless we spent 4 nights. So we asked, what do we do with towels, garbage, etc. They gave us two large garbage bags, and no instructions with what to do with the garbage and dirty towels. Eventually we started to see garbages in the hallways, which looked crappy and smelt. We eventually had decided to add a night, and I asked the front desk for an additional night, and after some run around, she told me to use the Hilton app to do so....when we attempted to, the hotel was booked. Very strange. Parking is $23 a day, but you can go in and out all day.
Beds were very comfortable, staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was crowded but staff kept everything stocked and tried to enforce social distancing as much as possible. Room was clean but not over the top clean. Some peeling wallpaper in spots.
The person checking in was rude. We asked where we could park since to lot was full she tells us we have 10 minutes to move our car to the neighboring parking garage. $23 a day. I asked if there was a voucher since they say parking is free on their website. She told us we could try our luck on the street. It was free to park there after 8p. It was only 6p. They share a parking lot with another hotel and there is only about 50 spots. Be prepared to shell out more for the parking garage than most in Savannah.
Nice clean hotel. Walking distance to lots of sightseeing
No hot water, when we asked the front desk the response was just let it run and it will heat up. I let it run for 10 minutes...no hot water. We overheard multiple guest with same complaint. One guest said they had been there 4 days and had no hot water. Had to ask someone to open the pool in the morning so my kids could swim.
The location was great. The hotel was nice buy the rooms could have been cleaned better, especially during these times. They were very dusty! There were places that didn't look like they had been cleaned in a long time. The were very roomy and comfortable though.
It was nice, front desk staff very friendly and helpful, love the cookies, great location. Only negative was the pillows. Too soft for me
bit dated. service not the quickest
TV was not only small but the only channels that really worked we're like 2. Poor connection
Great very nice staff beautiful hotel and location
