The twin room with ensuite was much larger than I expected and on the ground floor which was a pleasant surprise given how heavy my suitcase was. Certainly not luxury accommodations but fine for the price. It was VERY loud outside the room in the evening with people shouting and generally enjoying their time in Edinburgh, but once I fell asleep I didn’t notice anything anymore.

I am giving best review because location and service are unbeatable. I do have to say BRING EARPLUGS. The trash service is every morning and they have several trash companies on the street for a few hours every morning. Barely slept night one but once earplugs in place I did just fine. Wow, what a location we were able to walk all around old town, to the castle and easy transportation to and from the airport. Unbelievably beautiful area. The bed was comfortable we had a private room with shared bathrooms but never had to wait for a shower or restroom visit. Very nice kitchenette we did not take advantage but in future we would be able to cook up a few meals to save some dollars. CLEAN AS A WHISTLE
