This is easily the best hotel we have stayed in during our multiple trips to Japan. And in fact the best hotel we have ever stayed at, period. The hotel had so much atmosphere, the staff were extremely helpful and nice. We felt so well looked after. And don’t even get me started on the rooms; beautifully decorated, high quality materials throughout, free drinks in the minibare restocked every day along with amenities of course. The bathroom was amazing. Every day and evening there was free (and super delicious) soup and snacks served upon request either in the room or in the shared space at the ground floor (also a wonderful room by the way). It was all in all just such an amazing experience! And by the end of it, we received a handwritten note alongside a small gift. If you can, book this hotel!

This was our favorite hotel from our entire trip to Japan. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Yuki (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly). The rooms were beautiful, and to top it all off, the hotel offered delicious complimentary udon noodles every night. They even sent us off with sweets to take to our next destination, which was such a thoughtful touch. An excellent experience overall. We absolutely loved Kanazawa.

This was my favorite stay in Japan. This place is a hidden gem, it had great walking access to the beautiful castle and Gardens, as well as the market. The details in the room, from the design and engineering of the space to the elegant and thoughtful decor, made our stay so comfortable The most treasured memory is returning to the lobby after 9 o’clock at night, having been lost in the rain for hours, (Kanazawa at night is a wonderful place to be lost) and we returned home to fresh, hot udon and tea. The soaking tub is also quite perfect. My daughter was very touched by the little gifts upon arrival and departure I will remember Hotel Zoushi when I dream of returning to Japan.

Wonderful boutique hotel with a great location near the market and within a 20 minute walk to most key attractions in Kanazawa. Our favourite stay over a 3 week trip in Japan. It's listed as a 3 star but was as good as or even better than some 4 stars we stayed at. A gem. The staff was exceptional in their kindness, professionalism and service. The lounge area with free drinks and evening noodles is a nice touch plus we received a little gift upon checkout with a personal note. Amazing.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The location is great, the atmosphere of the room and common spaces is very nice, but above all the staff is truly amazing. They really made us feel valued and special, every little detail is worth a 5 star hotel. We got a personalized little gift bag at the end of our stay that really was a nice touch. On top of that, we got a very nice welcome snack, there are complimentary drinks in the fridge that is refilled every day and also complimentary udon in the evening, so food-wise the hotel also sets the bar quite high. We also booked the additional Japanese breakfast that was very good. We will be happy to return to this hotel if we come back to Kanazawa and will be happy to recommend it to our friends too !
