Place was like a dream. As you enter you have a long driveway with beautiful palm trees. The place is beautiful. Clean. I was greeted by Margaret and her lovely white wolf dog. She checked us in right away. The room was large and had a great view of the lake reservoir. The sunrise is amazing here. The breakfast was 5 stars. If you’re thinking of staying in Guatape this is where you should stay. Only 15 min from the monolith.

I highly recommend the Jordan Hotel Boutique. The rooms are nice, the view is beautiful, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff was very helpful! As a non-Spanish speaker, they helped me with translation, arranging taxi rides, and ordering.

The room we had looked over the reservoir and had a nice deck. Breakfast was very good. Juan was marvellous. His ability to speak English well and his knowledge of the area and Colombia in general was extremely helpful to us. Very good hotel.

Highly recommend

This small boutique hotel is an excellent place to stay away from a lot of people. They provide a boat ride on the reservoir for a fee; you can ask a couple of other guests to go with you and it brings down the price. The two hot tubs on the waterfront were at the perfect hot temperatures. This is one of the few places with a large flat peninsula to be able to walk close to the water. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is very attentive.

Excellent experience and wonderful customer service. Family owned property. Juan Camilo and Ricardo ( cousins) very polite and will answer to any questions and reasonable demands you may have. Well maintained facility. Lake view room. The hotel is located in a perfect location. Transportation can be arranged with staff. Reasonable prices. Breakfast was very good. Fresh juice and fruits. I will start with all the good, because there was only one bad. This is a small hotel with maybe 6 rooms. So it has an intimate feel. The people there really make you feel like you are a part of the family and not a customer. It is very personal. Breakfast is not really a buffet, but a made to order. Just tell them what you like and they prepare it for you. The grounds are very peaceful. There is a jacuzzi that sits 50 yards from the lake and if you want a bond fire, they will make it for you. They even ordered a Sunday boat ride Ok...now the bad. It is not in the city. The hotel will order a cab for you to go to El Penol or Guatepe...but it will take asking a few cabs and tuk tuks to get a ride back. There are no stores close, so you cant just get something. But the good thing is, they have a menu and they will call for you to have your food delivered (pizza, burgers ect).

Uno de los mejores hoteles en los que nos hemos hospedado en Colombia. Todo estaba limpio, el personal fue muy amable y atento, el desayuno rico y las vistas simplemente espectaculares. La relación calidad-precio es excelente. Como valor agregado, tienen una perrita residente encantadora que hace la estancia aún más especial. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomendaremos a nuestros familiares.
