Faultless stay — we’ll definitely be back! I honestly couldn't find a single thing to complain about; everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The property itself is excellent and exceptionally well maintained. Our room was wonderfully spacious and bright, but the real highlight was the incredible views—both right from our window and looking out toward the nearby castle. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back again in the future!

Fantastic historic hotel right next to the Palmela castle. The rooms are big and we had a 2nd floor corner room which meant we had double the panoramic views. Breakfast was great with a huge choice of meats / cheeses / pastries / fruit / eggs etc and staff were very attentive. The only down point was the cost of the bar - €3.50 for a very small glass of beer was outrageous - no wonder there were no people in there! The pricing of everything else was as you would expect for a nice hotel, so the bar pricing was unexpected. The hotel is only 40-45 minutes for Lisbon airport, so this makes a great stop either at the start or end of your visit to Portugal and I'm sure we'll be back.
