No fan in the bathroom so had to keep door open to release shower moisture and lots of holes in the shower head were plugged so the spray was spraying in lots of directions. Fireplace didn’t work. Small patio was nice. Good value, nice hotel, staff were super helpful and nice, free parking, close to restaurants along Alvarado Street.

Great location and spacious room. Our room was warm and stuffy initially but keeping the windows helped tremendously. The hotel room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I especially liked the fireplace. Staff were courteous and professional. The amenities, namely the complimentary glasses of wine and free breakfast, were an added bonus. The only negative I experienced during our stay was the brief interaction with the bartender. I did not get his name. When we went to the bar to receive our complimentary glasses of wine, the bartender was quite curt and unwelcoming. He offered no greeting and his demeanor made us feel like we don’t belong. After pouring our glasses of wine, he motioned with his fingers to give him our vouchers in an annoyed manner, which was quite rude. I would understand signs of frustration if the bar was packed and he was the only one tending, but it was not busy at all.
