The location of this hotel is unparalleled. The ocean is literally right outside your window, the lighthouse is right next door. And that’s good, because it helps to temper how uncomfortable the bed is, how tiny the shower is, and how our key almost never worked.

Had a nice stay at Oceanfront for four nights, while working in C.City. It was my second stay there in the past two weeks. The jacuzzi/balcony rooms are very comfortable, with a lot of space and a dedicated desk area. The jacuzzi tub does the job, just about roomy enough for two. Bed is a cheaper memory foam brand, but ver comfortable. The view from the balcony is fantastic, though there is not much privacy between neighbors. Room was a bit dusty with some grit on the floor when I arrived, but i requested a clean after a few days and the floors really gleamed after that. Coffee/maker is decent, especially when fortified with some additional instant. Some of the trim was coming loose in my room, but it didn’t bother me too much. I will stay there again (and have already booked my next work weekend).

Check in staff was extremely rude, Had $150 of fees added at check in after my booking. Was told 'It's not our fault, we just work here' and 'Noone else ever has a problem with it' when asked about the second charge that was added on my card for the deposit. One night in a double queen bed room cost me $315! Hair dryer did not work, sliding door did not lock, ocean view room was over a parking lot, (got maybe 1/3 of an ocean view from the room) kids running up and down the hallway at late hours, ice machine directly outside our room door.
