A gastronomia também corresponde, com pratos bem executados, e o atendimento da recepção foi simplesmente excelente — cordial, eficiente e acolhedor. O spa segue a mesma linha, com serviço muito bem prestado. Um ponto extremamente positivo que merece destaque foi a postura da gerência: após minha saída, identificaram que eu havia esquecido uma caixa de medicamentos e prontamente acionaram um mensageiro para buscá-la e providenciar a devolução. Um gesto de grande atenção e cuidado, que demonstra o nível de comprometimento do hotel com o hóspede. No entanto, ao final de uma noite no bar, enquanto me despedia de um amigo, fomos abordados pela equipe da portaria/segurança com a impressão de que não havíamos pago os drinks consumidos. Um dos funcionários chegou a ir até o bar para confirmar o pagamento — que, inclusive, já havia sido realizado. Apesar de provavelmente ter sido um equívoco, a forma como a situação foi conduzida gerou um constrangimento desnecessário — especialmente em um hotel desse nível, onde se espera discrição e maior cuidado nesse tipo de abordagem. No geral, é um excelente hotel, com serviço e estrutura de alto padrão. Mas esse pequeno incidente mostra como detalhes no atendimento podem impactar significativamente a experiência, mesmo diante de muitos pontos positivos.

Esperávamos um up grade pro ter reservado pelo hotels.com mas não tivemos. O quarto básico não condiz com preço nem o status do hotel. Banheiro pobre, amenities fracos, toalhas finas e ásperas, parede do banheiro capiscada, revestimento de porcelanato enquanto deveria ser de mármore como nas categorias superiores. Ou seja, o básico não acompanha o padrão das outras categorias de quartos. Hotel muito escuro. E a comida já não é mais a mesma coisa. Não adianta a rede crescer e o padrão cair. Decepção total.
