I have mixed feelings about this stay. On the one hand, this hotel is beautiful decorated and full of interesting historical artifacts. The staff is generally friendly and its food offering is excellent. On the other hand, there were construction work that woke us up and the beed was fairly small for that alleged level of luxury. Overall, it was a decent offering but I’m not sure that Auberge Saint-Antoine is worth the price.

We very much enjoy the location of the hotel, which was away from the hustle and bustle of Le Château Frontenac. Yes, it was at the bottom of the hill, but this was no problem. It was situated near numerous art galleries, as well as the oldest part of old Quebec. The Front desk staff and the concierge and the porters were very helpful. The only reason I gave the staff how far was the bar staff was a little sullen and a little slow. But, to be fair they seem to work very long hours. The drinks were good and one night there was a really excellent singer/piano/musician. That was absolutely fabulous. Our room was great and the heated floors in the bathroom were excellent. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

What impressed me most about our stay was the level of professionalism the staff displayed. From advance communication to the warm welcome the valet and bellhops provided to the attention to detail and friendliness of the front desk staff, every minute of our stay was top notch. The buffet breakfast in the morning before our checkout was definitely worth staying later for - the decor of the restaurant itself was authentic Québécois in a style I would call Luxe-Rustic. The food was displayed impeccably and was as delicious as it looked. We also enjoyed the archeological artifacts and photos on display throughout the hotel. All in all I highly recommend.
