About Azia Resort and Spa, Paphos

Situated a few miles from Paphos' town center and zoo, and close to the Akamas peninsula, Azia Resort and Spa is near the finest monuments and treasures on the island. Paphos is a picturesque location, said to be among the most desirable on the Mediterranean Sea. Home to the legendary mosaics at the House of Dionysos - and birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite - this distinguished town is rich in the history and architecture of Ancient Greece and is blessed with people of genuine warmth. The resort itself has direct access to a public beach.

Nestled among the trees and flowers of the estate, Azia Resort and Spa offers easy-going barefoot living, understated luxury, and casual friendly service in its 278 guestrooms.

Delightfully informal, the resort exudes the air of the gracious living afforded by a large private villa. The sophisticated traveler can relax in spacious surroundings and enjoy complete rest and seclusion or the entertainment provided by their hosts. For the business traveler, there are 14 meeting/conference rooms as well as an Internet point and secretarial services.

The resort has 4 restaurants: Katoi serves buffet breakfast, à la carte lunch, and special theme dinner; Akamas offers à la carte menus, theme buffet evening meals, and table d'hote on the garden terrace; Amphitheatre serves international cuisine al fresco for dinner overlooking the sea (high-season only); and Cipro specializes in Mediterranean cuisine for lunch and dinner, served à la carte, table d'hote, and buffet style in the exquisite marble conservatory. The buffet restaurant Katoi has an adults only section and the à la carte restaurants are adults only after 9:00 PM.

The spa offers luxurious spa treatments and massage in 10 relaxing rooms, (reservations are required). With a west-facing outlook, the hotel provides guests with a sublime view of blazing, indescribable sunsets. Guests will enjoy all the entertainment options provided by this wonderful resort, including live music, table games, theme nights, Wii, and a kids' club, just to name a few. A wide variety of activities and sports are available both on site and nearby, enough to keep even the most energetic vacationer satisfied. The hotel also offers a garden, lobby piano, luggage storage, tour assistance, and half- and full-board rates.

Fully renovated spacious guestrooms come with welcome amenities in addition to modern comforts such as a 32-inch LCD television with ESPN, and the bathrooms have tubs. Azia Resort and Spa has a range of rooms for family accommodation. Please note that the ‘Superior Sea View’ and ‘Family Sea View’ rooms have limited space and although Azia Resort and Spa will put 2 extra folded beds, if requested, they are best suited for families with 1 child. For your comfort, Azia Resort and Spa highly recommends that a family with 2 adults and 2 children books one of the Junior Suites or Family Suites. In-room childcare is available for a surcharge. Guestrooms with accessible bathrooms and accessible paths of travel are available. The resort is closed seasonally each winter.

Great hotel
We booked two rooms for the family. It was a great experience. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They offered us complementary coffee while we waited for our rooms to be ready since that we checked in early. In our rooms a complementary bottle of wine and fruit basket waited for us.

Nice hotel, just few improvements needed
Hotel nice, no it's not 5 star is cyprus 5 star but as long as the price is right! Rooms spotlessly clean, pool beds really comfy, we were b&b breakfast was fantastic great selection. Reception staff, restraunt staff. And spa staff so welcoming an really friendly an smiley! Pool bar staff awful! No smiles 15 year old boys who don't understand English I believe this is there first summer so there training. We were not on all inclusive but if we were we wouldn't of been happy that the effort to try an get a drink was awful. It's like no one wanted to give you a drink lol. Must of asked the same lad 100 times for a drink. All the other staff were fantastic so this part really let it down. Hotel entertainment really bad. The English entertainment team were friendly smiley an nice but the shows weren't great and the bingo super boring lol. Location is great 5-10 mins to harbour, restaurants. The view from our room was spectacular we had mountain view an was so beautiful to look at. The sea on the otherside was turquoise and picturesct. Another down side. Hotels very noisey we woke up at 7.30am on our first morning by the maids above moving furniture for an hour! We called complained an it stopped thankfully. Then the cars on the road we were opposite are noise to. But I'm a light sleeper so maybe I notice more. To sum up. I would to back to this hotel for the right price again. But improvement needs to be done on bar staff x
