Not near the Danube but a 30 minute walk. Felt safe walking in Budapest. Hotel is also 30 minute walk to Heroes Square. The square in in City Park and adjoins the zoo. Hotel staff always friendly and helpful and good English language skills are obviously required. Nice breakfast buffet in morning. Good dinner menu. Excellent food service.

Another wonderful time in Budapest in one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. Exceptional staff and wonderful cuisine. Our room was very nice - we were on the executive level. Amenities were wonderful- beautiful lounge with a large assortment of food. The pool and spa area was very refreshing after a hot day of touring around the city. We will be back again!

A nice and big hotel in the middle of Budapest. A really nice place and a good hotel to stay in for your Budapest visit. It was probably formally a superior hotel, but a bit run down and also the service was not as premium as it should be.
