This hotel is absolutely outstanding! There is literally nothing to fault at all about this hotel. Food is incredible and the staff are all fantastic. Big shout out to the waiting staff in the restaurants who were so incredibly attentive. Love Lyttos Mare, second holiday there and hope to go again in the future.

Cleaning room was good ! The staff was excellent in very aspect! The Bars were excellent especially with the Bartenders and the waiters, the best were Vasilis the waiter Andon at beach bar Andrea the bartender Alexandros bartender Teli Bartender Alexandra bartender they made our stay at Lyttos Mare very special ! I would recommend to everyone to stay at Lyttos Mare and you won’t be disappointed !

Wha can I say?! This place is phenomenal - they have literally thought of everything’s from entrance - rooms - amenities- food - you name it! This isn’t far the best Greek hotel complex we have ever stayed in as a family of 4. Yes it’s a 12+ hotel for families, couples and any age to be honest. This is the place to spend your holiday in northern Crete. It’s just perfect and we will be back again in October for some sun!!

Lovely hotel, very contemporary and clean. My only issue was the buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner was way too busy and a bit of a bun fight. I would recommend booking one of the smaller restaurants for a much better experience. Other than that it was excellent thank you.

The hotel Lyttos Mare is a fantastic place to stay. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel is amazing, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including gluten-free options. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the beds are very comfy. The beach is beautiful and the water is clear. The only downside is that the pool loungers are often reserved with towels, even when people aren't using them. We also had dinner at the Argentinean a la carte restaurant, which was incredible. Overall, we had a great stay at the Lyttos Mare hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Amazing, as Magdalena would say at the Argentinian Restaurant. Excellent Albanian barman at the beach. Luis and Ben great also to get us to activists and bad, very bad, but does not help you with your image the Atenan guy at the sport Bar Niko or something. He smokes , drinks carless. Bad apple for your Lythos image w us the tourist that bring the money. On the contraire mike was great at the same Bar. There is a stupid worker from Lythos beach that comes and scare touring at the beach int he afternoon. he sacres the your kids and parents from North Europe.

Property was beautiful and well kept, everything clean. Wish was more dining options but that wasnt a deal breaker, the buffet was god and had variety as well as the asian rest. Didnt try the steakhouse because im vegan. One complaint is my tv stopped working and when i called front dest was told all workers go home at 10 and no one available to help it was 11pm. He would make a note and someone will come next day. Next day no service so go to front desk and same we will send someone no worries. Hours pass no one comes so i call again and was given some bs story but to my rescue a few hrs later tv fixed so 3rd tome a charm. For a 5star thats bad service. But other than that the place is great i would go back

This property is absolutely beautiful and has the potential to be excellent. During my 8 day stay from the US we were disappointed with the activities onsite. The pool closes at 7p, there are no swim up bars and staff lacks offering drinks while you’re in the pool. All restaurants close by 10p and only serve beer or wine. If you’re hungry after an excursion note theres no room service. The resort did not have entertainment nightly, there’s no club or adult activities throughout the day or night minus a dj playing for 2hrs two of the 8 days we were there. We found ourselves having to go off site for entertainment/nightlife which defeats the purpose of all inclusive. While we wanted to relax away from a party resort this falls under senior citizen resort, for the price we paid this was disappointing. I will state the staff was pleasant and our room stayed clean when requested. Drinks are ok, if you want a great experience ask for the strawberry margarita extra grand mariner. Crete is a beautiful island with lots to see and do.

The hotel claims to be 5 star. If you base that on facilities etc then i guess that is fair, but I'm afraid that’s as far as it goes. The room was clean, tidy and spacious and the area around the pool were excellent with ample comfy loungers and towels. The access to bar facilities was excellent and the staff pleasant and helpful. However, there are so many areas that the hotel falls short. The main areas were- Food- As an all inclusive there is always a chance of hit or miss. This was 2 star at best. The main dining area reminded me of school dinners (although the food seriously wasn’t that good). It was noisy and nearly all the food was of average quality and cold. The Asian was basically the same, although you had to book. My local Chinese takeaway does a far better job. The Greek restaurant was much better, but again the food was left under lamps for far too long, meaning dry and cold meats etc. We didn’t try the main steak restaurant which we were ‘permitted’ to go to once during our stay. The main reason was that a supplement was required and judging by the other restaurants we weren’t prepared to throw further money away. All in all we ate out in local restaurants for 4 of our 7 nights The bar and cleaning staff were excellent and helpful. However, the main reception staff were simply rude, dismissive and unhelpful. I have seriously had a warmer welcome at a Premier Inn, and that was using their automated system. Certainly not 5star or value for money

Not a fan of salt water pools but that's a preference. Buffet is fine but all 3 restaurants are buffets, would be nice have the Asian or Greek as a la cart table service. Rooms are great but no English channels so take your fire stick. Evening entertainment is hit and miss, would be great to see some more interactivity with the guests like quizzes, competition etc. This is Crete tho! In my opinion the best destination so that makes up for any hotel shortfalls

Me my wife and child got food poisoning and the manager told me if I try to peruse the matter he will sue me we got rushed to hospital and was in there for a couple of days we got no refund nothing he chucked my hospital paperwork back at me and told me to go the rudest person I have ever spoke to just be very careful
